Privacy policy

This policy covers Bluebana's website and its products: ProfitLupa (the browser extension, the web hub at profitlupa.com and ProfitLupa for Mac) and MyFamilyBirth (myfamilybirth.com). Where a product has its own, more detailed policy, that one applies to the product and this one applies to everything else.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password (stored as a hash), plus the preferences you set in the product.
- What you ask the product to keep: in ProfitLupa, products you track, keywords you save, plans and notes you write; in MyFamilyBirth, the people, dates, photos and stories you add to a tree, and the relatives you invite.
- Marketplace data you authorize: if you connect a seller account (Amazon, Walmart or TikTok Shop), we read the data that account's own authorization allows, such as sales, fees, inventory and advertising reports, to show it to you. You can disconnect at any time, which stops the access.
- Public marketplace pages: the extension reads the pages you are viewing in your browser to show numbers next to them. Product details it reads are stored in a shared catalog without any link to you.
- Technical records: server logs (IP address, time, request) kept for security for 30 days, and an anonymous count of which features are used.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no advertising networks, no third-party analytics or tracking in our products.
- We don't sell, rent or share your data with data brokers.
- We don't read your marketplace accounts beyond what the feature you use needs.
Services we rely on
Our software runs on servers we rent and manage. We use an email provider to send verification codes, alerts and receipts; an AI model provider (Anthropic) for features that write or analyze text, which receives only the product text you ask it to work on; and the marketplaces' own APIs for the accounts you connect. Payments, when offered, are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Your choices
- Edit or delete anything you've stored in the product at any time.
- Delete your account from the product's Account page. Deletion removes your account and everything in it from our servers within 24 hours; server logs expire on their own schedule.
- Email us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it exported or deleted.
Where data lives
On servers in the United States. If you use our products from elsewhere, your data is processed there.
Children
Our products are business tools for adults and are not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and account holders are told by email for anything material.
